SUMMARY:Sara Bareilles: Good Grief - A Fundraiser for the Eureka Theater
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate one of Humboldt County’s own at the historic Eureka Theater and help us "Raise the Roof"!\n\n\nJoin us Saturday\, September 19\, for a special screening of Sara Bareilles: Good Grief\, a film featuring Eureka hometown hero and Grammy Award-winning singer\, songwriter\, actress\, and composer Sara Bareilles. \nDoors open at 6:30 p.m.\, with the film beginning at 7:30 p.m. Come early\, enjoy the atmosphere of the Eureka Theater\, and take part in an evening celebrating Sara’s remarkable career and her deep connection to our community. \nSara has graciously granted us permission to use this screening to raise funds for the Eureka Theater- our current priority is the auditorium roof replacement. On December 8\, 2007\, Sara returned home to play a sold-out show at the Eureka Theater\, a night described as ‘rowdy\, rapturous.’ Now\, nearly 20 years later\, we are honored to share her documentary and raise funds to protect the very stage where she performed that homecoming show. Sara’s blessing means the world to us\, and we hope you will join us for this special evening. \nThe evening will support the Eureka Theater’s “Raise the Roof” Fund\, our campaign to replace the auditorium roof and protect this treasured 1939 landmark for generations to come. \nIt’s a chance to celebrate a hometown success story while helping preserve one of Eureka’s most beloved historic gathering places. \nSara Bareilles: Good GriefSaturday\, September 19\, 2026Doors: 6:30 p.m. | Film: 7:30 p.m. \nFull bar and concessions \nCome celebrate Sara\, support the theater\, and help us Raise the Roof! \nDonate directly- https://theeurekatheater.org/donate/
